Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how AISidekik LLP ("AISidekik", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use any of our mobile applications and related services (collectively, the "Services") — including AutoAIReels, AI VFX, and any other apps we publish. By using our Services you acknowledge you have read this policy. Where required by law (e.g. GDPR), we will seek your explicit consent separately.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

Depending on which app you use, this may include your email address (where required to prevent abuse of free credits or to manage your account), content you create (text prompts, scripts, style selections, voice preferences, and similar inputs), and media generated through the Services (videos, images, audio). Payment details are handled entirely by Apple or Google — we never see or store your card information. Support communications you send us are retained to help us respond.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

Our Services collect device information (model, OS version, language, timezone, device identifiers), usage data (features accessed, session duration, screens viewed), diagnostic information (crash reports, performance metrics), and approximate location at country/region level derived from your IP address. We may also collect install attribution data (e.g. which ad campaign or referral led to the install).

1.3 Information From Third Parties

We receive information from app stores (subscription validation, purchase receipts, refund status) and attribution partners (install source data).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and improve our Services
  • Manage subscriptions and in-app purchases
  • Prevent abuse of free credits and trial features
  • Communicate with you about your account or our Services
  • Measure marketing and product performance
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your content (prompts, generated videos, or media) to train AI models — ours or anyone else's. We do not sell your personal information to third parties or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

3. Third-Party Services We Use

3.1 AI Service Providers

Our apps use AI providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Replicate) to process your prompts and generate content. We send only the content you ask these providers to process — not your email address, account identifier, or any other personal identifier.

3.2 Analytics and Attribution

We use analytics tools (such as Firebase Analytics and PostHog) and attribution partners (such as AppsFlyer) to understand how our apps are used and how users find them.

3.3 Infrastructure and Operations

We use Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting, Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications, and RevenueCat for subscription management. Payments are processed by Apple (App Store) and Google (Play Store).

3.4 Legal and Safety

We may disclose information to comply with lawful government requests, enforce our Terms of Service, or protect the rights and safety of AISidekik, our users, or others.

4. Data Retention

  • User prompts and generated content: Deleted automatically within 30 days
  • Account email (where collected): Retained while your account is active; deleted upon request
  • Subscription records: Retained per tax and consumer protection requirements (typically 7 years in India)
  • Analytics and usage data: Kept identifiably for up to 14 months, then aggregated or deleted
  • Crash logs: Retained for up to 90 days
  • Support emails: Retained for up to 2 years after last communication

5. Your Rights

All users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information, and may withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.

5.1 EU, EEA, and UK Users (GDPR / UK GDPR)

You have additional rights to data portability, restriction of processing, and objection to processing. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

5.2 California Users (CCPA / CPRA)

You have rights to know what personal information we collect, delete it, correct inaccuracies, and opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

5.3 India Users (DPDP Act 2023)

You have rights to data access, correction, erasure, grievance redressal, and nomination of a representative.

To exercise any right, email div@aisidekik.com with your request. We will respond within 30 days (or sooner where required by law). Identity verification may be required.

6. Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing div@aisidekik.com with the subject line "Delete My Account". Some apps also provide an in-app account deletion option. Deletion is permanent and applies only to server-stored data; content already saved to your device is not affected.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in EU/EEA countries). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under those ages. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. International Data Transfers

AISidekik operates from India. Our third-party providers maintain infrastructure in the US, EU, and other regions. By using our Services you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence. EU/EEA/UK transfers are made using Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

9. Data Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS), encryption at rest for sensitive data, and access controls. No system is 100% secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. Material changes will be announced by updating the "Last Updated" date above and, where applicable, by in-app or email notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of our Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance unless explicit consent is required.
